Turning Twenty!

It was my fancy dress part last Friday and my birthday yesterday.
People keep asking my how it feels to be 20 but then they do that every ye
ar and it never feels any different.
Except for the fact that you have just been given lots of gifts and money for no real reason.

I didn't really earn them, just turned one year older. But then I'm not complaining.

For my party i had friends round from uni and my hometown to celebrate in a rather childish manner.

We all dressed up as cartoon characters or TV characters from our childhood programmes.
I was of course, Superted and between myself Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, managed to drink a whole fishbowl filled to the brim with sex on the beach.
Mickey Mouse (Laura) did however suffer from this in the morning by throwing up continuously.
I also bought myself (with birthday money, cheers mum) a very special gift which i will introduce you to later on for reasons i will explain later. Other gifts include: Archers Peach Schnapps yumyum, A Make-Up Bag, Haribo, Fox and the Hound DVD, Lots and Lots of Money (which i subsequently owed to most of my flatmates lol), Primark Clothes (scarves, shirt, skirt and jumper), a Hammock and a taxi to the cinema last night to watch Juno.

I had an awesome birthday which has pretty much spanned the entire weekend, which was nice.
My mates Jason and Owen came down from my hometown and Wilf got the train over from Falmouth.

Jason was Buzzlightyear, not exactly oldschool but better than nothing plus it was the proper job from Argos,
Wilf came as Denis the Menace and Owen unfortunately didn't wear a costume. So i got him to wear the Hula Costume i have in my cupboard haha.
My boyfriend, Damien went as Banana man which i greatly enjoyed creating out of primark clothes and yellow felt.
I suppose the only downside to my birthday other than the impending uni deadline was the weather!
"40mph winds with 80mph gusts, 60% traffic disruption and severe weather warnings" yeah as you can imagine, not good!

Above is the view from my uni window, normally you can see the sea!
But luckily for me it didn't destroy my plans too much. Two more days until my deadline is over and i can relax with friends, family and also work on my illustration and version two of monsterfex which is underway.

So expect some more posts soon.
Take it easy
xx
